According to the FCRA, you also qualify for a free credit report from the three major
credit reporting agencies if:
- You are unemployed andintend to apply for employment within 60 days;
- You receive public welfare assistance;
- You believe your consumer file contains inaccurate information due
to fraud; and/or- You have been the subject of some adverse action, such as being
denied credit or insurance, within the past 60 days.
