Often, if you have an outstanding (unpaid) derogatory item on your profile, the creditor will reduce the amount owed-settle-if you agree to pay the creditor in full. We will negotiate with theses creditors on your behalf to get you the lowest settlement amount and most favorable reporting possible. If we are unable to reach a settlement agreement with a creditor, you will be refunded any fees paid for that specific settlement, less a $49 administration fee.

NOTE: SHC WILL NEVER collect money from you to pay any creditors or settlements. We will negotiate the settlement for you, but it will be your responsibility to pay the settlement amount in the time agreed. We will follow up to make sure the creditor reports your payment correctly on your credit profile.
